We are proud to partner with the Women’s March to stand in solidarity with oppressed communities here in the U.S. and draw attention to the ever-important issue of nuclear war. Indigenous and low-income communities of color are disproportionately impacted by our nuclear system by living near nuclear storage sites, on land where nuclear weapons were tested, or near mines for nuclear materials. We will march on January 19th so mothers do not have to fear the effects of radiation on their reproductive choices and on their loved ones. Our contingent will stand united and call for the United States to protect our sisters abroad who would be victims of the U.S. militarism on a mass scale in the event of a nuclear detonation.

You are at the core of our work, and we can’t imagine marching in the Women’s March without you. Every voice makes a difference. When we join together and lift each other’s voices, we become a wave too powerful to ignore, too powerful to sweep aside, and too powerful to drown out. The #WomensWave is coming. On January 19, 2019 we march.
